Responsibility

  • prepare sole trader and partnership accounts and self assessment tax returns from prime records on Iris software
  • prepare limited company accounts and corporation tax returns on Iris software from prime records for review by a Partner
  • prepare VAT returns from prime records on Sage or excel spreadsheets where appropriate
  • assist Partners with audit work which will frequently be carried out at client premises
  • title : Part Qualified Accountant / Semi Senior Accountant
  • reports to: Partners
  • based at: Cornelius House, 178-180 Church Road, Hove, BN3 2DJ
  • liaise directly with clients to obtain the necessary information to complete company accounts and tax returns and VAT returns in a timely manner to meet filing and payment deadlines

Requirements

  • at least 2 years experience of accounts and tax work
