- my client is a global manufacturer based in Newcastle upon Tyne
- as a result of business demands, the company is looking to recruit a HSE Technician
- the HSE Department are responsible for ensuring that a comprehensive management system is implemented, maintained and continually improved upon in accordance UK Legislation, Group / Site Policies and Procedures
- supporting the ongoing development and implementation of the site’s health, safety and environmental management system
- participating in accident, incident and near miss investigations
- monitoring contractor performance onsite
- supporting new starter inductions
- conducting internal audits against ISO standards and managing the audit schedule
Requirements
- the job holder would be qualified to a minimum NEBOSH Certificate level
- knowledge in Health, Safety & Environmental Management Systems
- experience of all Microsoft packages
- 2+ year’s experience in a complex Manufacturing environment
