vehicle technician
Responsibility
- following jobcards to perform service work, MOT failures and pre delivery inspections
- diagnosing and troubleshooting of mechanical issues using various diagnostic systems including Snap on, Autel, Top Don, Autodata and ddtsb Autofrontal
- use power tools, hand tools and garage equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- working as part of Parc Lane Cars team to create the best experience for our customers
Requirements
- strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- ability to do timing belts, replace clutches, remove head gaskets and engine removals if required
- familiarity with workshop equipment repair and assembly processes
- ability to perform heavy lifting as required
- welding experience is a plus but not essential
- air con cirtificates is a plus but not essential
- UK Drivers licence
- level 2+ experience in vehicle maintenance and repair required
