Responsibility

  • keeping stock records updated
  • auditing despatch process
  • ensuring all stock is despatch as per guidelines
  • booking out stock and dealing with any general enquires for customers/store
  • SQP/RAMA Only – It is the duty of our RAMA to ensure that licensed medicines are being stored correctly, appropriate temperatures measures are recorded and SOPs are followed correctly under the VMD regulations and code of practice
  • it is the duty of an RAMA to ensure that the statutory requirements in respect of the prescription and/or supply of certain veterinary medicines are respected, advising on choice of medicine and their safe and effective use

Requirements

  • RAMA / SQP qualified
  • attention to detail & methodical way of working
  • knowledge/background in companion pet medicines
  • excellent communication skills, written & verbal
  • strong customer service skills
  • excellent telephone manner
  • flexible approach to assisting other team members
  • pro-active, willingness to learn
