Responsibility
- manage the commercial inbox
- monitor incoming tender enquiries
- access and obtain tender documents from online document portal
- accurately measuring and taking-off using computer software
- producing schedules for all package components
- raise technical queries with the client
- issue enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers and then analyse the quotations
- liaise with the supply chain to discuss and resolve any queries
Education
- diploma of Higher Education
Requirements
- achieved or working towards a degree or diploma in in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management
- previous experience working in an estimating or sales department
- construction industry experience, desirable but not essential
- excellent attention to detail
- “Can Do” attitude
- excellent co-ordination skills
- confident communicator
- good written and numerical skills
