Responsibility
- operate forklifts to handle materials and products in the warehouse
- load and unload goods from vehicles such as lorries
- use warehouse management systems to track inventory movement
- conduct basic equipment repairs and maintenance as needed
- ensure safe handling of heavy items and perform regular checks on the forklift
- assist with shipping and receiving tasks as required
- we are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in handling materials and goods efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, and move items within the warehouse
Requirements
- previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment
- proficiency in using warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- mechanical knowledge to perform basic equipment repairs
- ability to handle heavy lifting and manoeuvre materials safely
- competency in basic mathematics for inventory counting and order fulfilment
- familiarity with warehouse operations including shipping and receiving processes
