Responsibility

  • bring all scrubs down from changing rooms and ensure these are correctly organised in the linen trolley
  • take large clinical bins from theatre sluice and ensure these are clean and empty for next use
  • cleaning within theatre department; Both theatres, recovery and anaesthetic rooms and surrounding theatre admin/changing rooms
  • clean and check each patient rooms for cleanliness and stock is maintained
  • check all mattresses and complete any unmade beds, damp wipe room
  • maintain and clean trolleys/ admin desks, and stock white aprons and consumables
  • ensure a check of all showers on each floor are ran for 10 minutes each Monday
  • stock management of gowns, scrubs for each surgery day
