Responsibility
- an opportunity has arisen to join a successful manufacturing company, based on Flixborough Industrial Estate
- provide a multi skilled maintenance service across the site, covering mechanical, electrical, plumbing and building fabrication
- carry out planned PPM on conventional rotary pulp machinery
- provide technical support/input to projects along with continuously looking to improve equipment efficiencies and cost reduction
- omni-Pac Group UK is looking for an experienced multi-skilled engineer to join us on our mission of preserving food and the planet by offering high quality, eco-friendly products and taking advantage of the virtuous recycling loop
- maintain, repair and calibrate electrical, mechanical and instrumentation plant, optimising both reliability and maintainability
- omni-Pac Group is a world leading manufacturer and supplier of recyclable pulp packaging products, with plants in the UK, Germany and France
- complete manual handling tasks as required and make effective use of tools and equipment provided

Requirements
- experience in planned preventative and reactive maintenance regimes for heavy duty machinery
- knowledge of safe working practices on electrical/mechanical building services
- experience in fault finding, resolving issues, servicing and maintaining general building fabric work
- positive team player who also has the ability to work alone and use own initiative
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- confident, flexible approach to work, with the ability to respond to many different situations that may arise
- PLC programming experience desirable but not essential
