Responsibility
- supporting the team including taking on cell culture and wet lab work
- lab management including updating lab inventory, lab maintenance and iPSC banking
- production of specialised media for cell cultures
- generating reports to meet deadlines and deliver to recipients
Requirements
- A BSc or MSc in a relevant field, such as Cell Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology, with demonstrable laboratory experience
- 2-5 years of industry experience
- proven and strong expertise in aseptic cell culture and related laboratory techniques
- previous experience in iPSC reprogramming
- experience in molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid extraction, PCR, qPCR, IHC, etc
- familiarity with iPSC or other stem cell culture and maintenance
- proficiency in lineage-specific differentiation assays
- familiarity with gene transfections and creating stable cell lines
