- ensuring the children in the nursery are receiving the highest standards of childcare
- ensuring room routines are adhered to and planning kept up to date by the staff
- supporting staff where needed with advice about children/ ideas for small group time/ large group time
- ensuring the rooms and communal areas of the nursery are kept clean and organised
- motivating staff
- showing prospective clients around the nursery and completing booking process for new clients
- holding staff meetings 4 times annually
Requirements
- degree in Early Childhood Studies or equivalent
- minimum 3-years experience in a Nursery Manager’s role
- full, Clean Driver’s licence
- first Aid Certificate
- child Protection/ Safeguarding Certificate
- working knowledge of common childhood illnesses and how to identify them
- excellent communication skills
- knowledge and experience of using Disciplinary procedures
