Responsibility
- perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing stock to ensure accuracy and condition
- execute heavy lifting tasks as required, moving products safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
- operate pallet truck and other warehouse machinery safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols
- engage in picking and packing orders accurately for shipping
- load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring proper handling of materials
- assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying shipments against purchase orders
- maintain an organised warehouse environment by keeping stock in designated areas and ensuring cleanliness
- participate in materials handling activities, ensuring that all products are stored correctly
Requirements
- previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential
- strong understanding of quality control processes and materials handling techniques
- ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift
- excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in picking, packing, and inventory management
- strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
- warehouse experience: 1 year
