- registered General Nurse / Vaccination Nurse
- opportunity available for a Registered General Nurse to work within a Vaccination Team, Based in Bedfordshire
- the hours for this role are Full Time with shifts being Monday to Friday
- the team sits within a Vaccination Team with the role predominantly working in a Clinical support role within the BLMK School Age and Community Immunisation Service delivering school and community immunisation programmes ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to enabling safe, effective administration of immunisations
- you will be promoting health and wellbeing and prevent ill health of school aged children through planned activities, empowering young people to make healthy lifestyle choices and achieve their maximum potential
- as part of this role you will also a participate in School Age and Community immunisations programme, including administration of live attenuated inactivated vaccine and assist in the planning, preparation and delivery of school, community and home immunisation services
- you will encourage children, parents/carers to participate in the immunisation programmes in line with the Department of Health policy and ensure children and parents/carers have adequate evidence based information to allow them to make an informed choice regarding immunisations
- the hourly rate for this role is: £20 Per Hour
