Requirements
2 years of relevant experience is preferred, but we are also willing to consider applications from more recent graduates
design degree or equivalent, ideally with a focus on weave
skilled in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and ideally Scotweave or other weave software package
confident in customer relations, working on social media platforms and dealing with PR
proven illustrative skills
good knowledge of fabric/yarn construction and jacquard/dobby loom weave
skilled in developing designs from sketch through to final product and putting into repeat
love of developing ideas as part of a team and confident to put ideas out there
Responsibility
ideally, you will have strong technical knowledge of jacquard and dobby looms and experience of working with suppliers
this is a rare opportunity to work with a small, creative team, innovating across design, colour, fibres and woven techniques to create beautiful baby slings made from natural and responsibly sourced yarns

develop, check, amend and adapt new designs for sampling and production

the Designer will run In-house and Customer Preorders - this involves working through our Preorder process - establishing timelines, working with customer Preorder Admins through Facebook groups, answering questions, aiding with PR, and providing final mockups, Drapes, and placing orders
