Responsibility

  • liaise with clients and develop good business relationships
  • have an appreciation of BOQ and identify any commercial issues to Contracts Manager & Quantity Surveyor
  • ensure all work is carried out in line with CDM 2015
  • ensure resource levels on site are maintained to correct levels and inform Contracts Manager in a timely manner where additional resources are required
  • deliver in accordance with the programme for the site works and keep the Contracts Manager updated on progress
  • keep Contracts Manager and Quantity Surveyor informed of any changes to works scope, programme, issues preventing works being carried out in line with tendered outputs so EWN and CE can be raised
  • complete all necessary documentation to allow works to start, i.e. ‘Site Specific Risk Assessment’, etc
  • survey potential works and submit reports to the commercial department for pricing when instructed to do so by the Contracts Manager

Education

  • experience in the Industries in which we work i.e. highways, etc
  • multi skilled in all aspects of civils works
  • CSCS Supervisor Card
