Responsibility
- to manage client relationships and develop account management strategies in accordance with clients’ strategic communications objectives
- to coordinate team input to client accounts, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget
- where necessary, to manage day-to-day relationships with clients, ensuring they receive structured and strategic communications advice and support
- to work in close consultation with the client, to plan and implement communications strategies on their behalf
- to assist clients to develop positive relationships with target stakeholders and to influence decision-making and the political process
- to manage relationships with journalists and the media on behalf of clients
- to be responsible for the line management of selected individuals in more junior positions
- where appropriate, to support Managing Director with staff recruitment, general management and motivation of the wider team
