Responsibility
- ensure that all ICT issues, faults and requests are logged into the helpdesk ticketing system
- monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- assist in other duties relating to the day-to-day maintenance and of the client's computer systems
- installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
- troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
- be the first point of contact for clients reporting ICT issues, faults or requests; contacts are typically by telephone or by email or face-to-face
- responding within agreed time limits to call-outs
