Responsibility
- hybrid Working 50% in Hemel Hempstead Head Office and 50% Remote
- work with the sales team to facilitate sales as expediently as possible within SOP, time being of the essence
- work closely with other members of the credit control team and reporting to the Financial Controller
- responsible for safeguarding the AR against unnecessary risk, strictly adhering to SOP
- responsible for managing credit insurance with Atradius and other AR securities to mitigate any risk of loss
- responsible for seeking credit reports from CreditSafe for new and current customers to assess financial worthiness for credit facilities
- review and post credit notes
- responsible for the daily activities of the Credit Control function for EMEA for approximately 800 accounts, including but not limited to, daily banking and cash allocation, reconciliation, reporting to sales, setting up new customers, obtaining credit limits, monitoring risk, chasing debt, clearing accounts and releasing orders
Requirements
- commercially astute
- ERP experience – preferably Oracle NetSuite
- willingness to challenge
- good communicator both written and verbal
