Responsibility
- support tickets are raised either by telephone or using our ticketing software and carried out remotely using remote IT support software
- full training will be offered on our solution and installation procedures
- the ideal candidate will have some previous EPoS Engineer or IT support experience, or a relevant IT qualification
- we are a bespoke software company that is looking for a dedicated and professional IT Support / EPoS Installation Engineer to support our software, which is installed at over 100 customer sites nationally
- you will also be expected to install our EPoS solution and train customers on how to use it on site
- the software is written in .Net to an SQL Server Database, so some knowledge of SQL would be useful, but not required
- keep internal procedures up to date and update our support desk software’s knowledge base
Requirements
- knowledge of computer hardware
- excellent customer-facing and communication skills
- ability to explain problems and solutions clearly to non-technical users
- ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- able to work alone or as part of a team
- full clean driving licence is essential
- interest or experience in IT Support
- experience with EPoS or as an EPoS Engineer would be desirable
