Responsibility

  • the Finance Manager will work closely with our team members and management team to develop and implement initiatives, including business strategies
  • in this role you will be responsible for maintaining the current financial position of the charity, as well as developing new systems to strengthen the organisation
  • with strong administration skills, ensure that all operational processes run smoothly
  • you will work closely with the management team to ensure the charity’s financial performance and support the CEO and Trustees to deliver and develop organisational strategy
  • the Finance Manager has overall responsibility for the management, controls, and monitoring of the financial performance of the charity to ensure the strategic objectives are met, through the annual planning and budgeting process, and ensure that Open Door meets all financial regulatory requirements

Education

  • bachelor's

Requirements

  • A relevant financial qualification or equivalent proven experience
  • understanding of organisational functions such as IT, HR, and back-end office operations
  • experience in financial reporting to a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • adept at forecasting, modelling financial scenarios and assessing upside, baseline, and downside cases
  • demonstrable competency in Strategic Planning and organisational management
  • ability to proactively identify financial risks and provide mitigations
