Responsibility

• general Manager
• take overall responsibility for all aspects of Health & Safety to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and volunteers
• working with key stakeholders to implement the strategy and associated Business Plan for Open Door to enable it to fulfil its strategic vision and values at this most challenging of times

• provide cover for the Assistant Manager for holidays and unexpected leave
• lead implementation of the Business Plan, focusing on areas such as partnerships, programme design, marketing, fundraising etc. with the support of the team
• determine the optimum organisational structure for Open Door to ensure that it is a financially viable and sustainable organisation; along with the trustees
• take on overall accountability for the financial and commercial management of Open Door, ensuring that it can operate as a sustainable organisation. This requires a strong focus on cost control and income generation
• leading, motivating and guiding the team and volunteers to deliver the full range of services into the community. You will hold line management responsibility for the team
• raise the profile of Open Door locally and even more widely, representing us within the community and working with other caring, charitable or partnership groups to build services and solutions that meet the needs identified within the community
