Responsibility
- collaborate with the business and project teams to understand the scope of projects.• Liaising extensively with external and internal clients.• Work closely with software developers and project support teams.• Mapping and documenting project requirements.• Translating requirements into highly specified project briefs.• Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for business suitability.• Producing project feasibility and costings reports.• Working closely with colleagues, developers, testers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.• Planning and working flexibly to deadlines.• Keeping up to date with technical and industry developments.• Use data modelling practices to analyse requirements and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes• Document and communicate findings to technical and non-technical colleagues.• Ensure adherence and working towards departmental and project deadlines
Requirements
- minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical business analysis role ideally within a software product company.• Financial services background for example, with a Mortgage or specialist finance lender, bank or mortgage customer management system.• SQL knowledge would be an advantage as the role requires scoping of database structure within the technical requirements.• Proven track record of delivering complex analysis specifications and working with project teams to deliver successful results.• Good knowledge of project methodologies, especially Agile.• Ability to contribute to a team effort.• Logical approach to problem solving.• Good interpersonal and client-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations.• Business awareness.• Methodical, investigative and inquisitive mind.• Presentation skills.• Initiative and self-confidence.• An interest in the way organisational processes work.• Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects within your project timeframes.• Passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change.• Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach
