Requirements

  • must hold a valid SIA license
  • previous experience working in mobile security is preferred but not essential
  • good mechanical aptitude and knowledge of security systems are desirable
  • good written and verbal communication skills; ability to write clear and comprehensive reports
  • ability to work independently while using good judgment in order to make sound decisions quickly and effectively
  • must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

  • must have a valid driving license held for 2+ years. No points or convictions

Responsibility

  • respond quickly to emergency situations such as alarms being triggered or unauthorized entry into customer’s property
  • open and/or secure premises as directed
  • carry out other duties such as providing escorts for staff, visitors, or contractors
  • maintain records of incidents and activities in line with company procedures
  • provide excellent customer service and represent OMS Group professionally at all times
  • patrol customer’s premises on foot or by vehicle in accordance with specified instructions; check for suspicious activity or objects while patrolling the premises
