Requirements
- must hold a valid SIA license
- previous experience working in mobile security is preferred but not essential
- good mechanical aptitude and knowledge of security systems are desirable
- good written and verbal communication skills; ability to write clear and comprehensive reports
- ability to work independently while using good judgment in order to make sound decisions quickly and effectively
- must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- security: 1 year
- must have a valid driving license held for 2+ years. No points or convictions
Responsibility
- respond quickly to emergency situations such as alarms being triggered or unauthorized entry into customer’s property
- open and/or secure premises as directed
- carry out other duties such as providing escorts for staff, visitors, or contractors
- maintain records of incidents and activities in line with company procedures
- provide excellent customer service and represent OMS Group professionally at all times
- patrol customer’s premises on foot or by vehicle in accordance with specified instructions; check for suspicious activity or objects while patrolling the premises
