- production of accurate manufacturing drawings from information provided by the Structural, Mechanical and System Engineers
- production of full assembly drawings & parts lists from manufacturing drawings
- assigning engineering materials and stating manufacturing processes of these materials
- use and understanding of DNV standards/codes, in particular DNV-OS-C401
- checking of colleague’s designs/drawings for accuracy, quality etc
- assist in the configuration control of drawing PDF outputs and distribution of completed drawings/documents internal and externally
- understanding of engineering documents and drawings
- preparation and checking of drawings/documentation for subcontract to manufacturers
Requirements
- minimum of HND in engineering or time served experience
- experience in drawing office methods & practices combined with good factory floor knowledge of welding, machining & assembly processes
- ability to work as part of a strong team as well as making informed decisions when working individually
- familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing per BS 308/BS 8888/ASME Y14.5
- familiarity with Welding techniques, symbols, detailing and weldment assembly
- strong computer skills required using Microsoft Office 365 applications
- computer literacy and aptitude of Windows system complexities
- PTC Creo + Windchill knowledge gained in a working environment
