Responsibility

  • this is a 12 month fixed-term contract due to an increased volume of work
  • complete design and development tasks to fulfill specified requirements to planned timescales and costs
  • produce, review and update 3D CAD models, 2D drawings and other company design data
  • develop detailed designs from initial concept ideas to meet design requirements
  • utilise creative thinking to develop ideas which may lead to Patents or Registered Designs for Olympus
  • deliver manufacturable designs
  • we are recruiting for a R&D Design Engineer to join our UK&I Research and Development team, who are responsible for the concept, design and introduction of exciting new products
