Responsibility
- responsible for the day-to-day management of customer accounts ensuring completeness, accuracy, and validity
- building and maintaining relationships with our customers
- liaising with other department to resolve invoice queries from our customers
- ensuring resolution of customer queries in a timely manner
- credit checking new customers
- providing monthly outstanding debt reports to company Directors, with relevant commentary
- sending copy invoices to customers, if requested
- based at our Luton depot, we are looking for a Credit Controller to perform daily credit control and administrative tasks that will support our financial team at our head office in Luton and across the Group
Requirements
- proven Credit Control experience
- excellent written and verbal communication skills with tactful telephone manner
- self-driven in seeking resolutions with problem accounts
- excellent organisation skills and being able to work as part of a friendly team
- having a can-do attitude and supporting accounts team where required
- accounting: 1 year
- customer- centric and flexible with the ability to handle overdue credit accounts with risk-based approach in order not to jeopardise relationship with customers
- credit control: 1 year
