Responsibility
- implement and develop the category strategy set by the Commercial Director
- manage all aspects of the B2B relationship between the company and the supply chain serving a defined subset of product categories
- develop expert knowledge of the market, suppliers, products and services available for each product category allocated
- manage the onboarding of suppliers and the ongoing performance of the supply chain selected
- align all procurement & stock management activity to monthly purchase targets and the stocking strategy of the business
- manage the procurement of all ad hoc demands of the allocated branch/es
- track & report progress and status against key business targets and milestones
- manage the return or right off, of dead stock, discontinued or obsolete products
Requirements
- experience of working within a category management structure
- A working knowledge of Phocas
