Responsibility

  • must have a good manner as you will be interacting with our customers on a daily basis

  • we are a secondary wholesale supplier, operating from the Fruit & Vegetable Market on the Team Valley in Gateshead. We deliver daily provisions all over the North East to hotels, pubs, restaurants, cafes, schools etc
  • we are in urgent need of some full time drivers who will begin work at 4.00 a.m, usually finishing early afternoon. Days of work will be 5 days per week between monday through to saturday
  • you must be fit and healthy as there is a degree of heavy lifting involved and a clean driving license is required for insurance purposes
  • the job entails being on-time each day; ensuring that the orders to be delivered are picked & loaded correctly onto the van; and delivered in a timely fashion. Any mistakes will have to be rectified and so precision is important
