Responsibility
- collaborate with the Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and Community teams to prepare and execute a comprehensive Business Development Strategy
- develop and implement a plan to increase the number of partnerships with businesses in both the Web2 and Web3 sectors
- redefine and improve our Grants Program in coordination with the Grants Manager
- define clear goals and strategies for the Business Development department on an annual, quarterly, semi-annually, and monthly basis
- attend conferences, lead initiatives, and organize events to increase Oasis's visibility and promote partnerships with other businesses
- create new revenue streams
- act as the Hiring Manager for roles related to the Business Development
- department and identify human resource requirements to support business growth
Requirements
- strong understanding of Layer 1 blockchains and Grant Programmes
- previous experience as a Head of Business Development for a Layer 1 or similar blockchain company
- experience in a high-growth startup environment
- proven experience in a business development role or a related field, with a track record of success
- experience in managing grants or funding programs, including setting objectives, evaluating proposals, and monitoring progress
- strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams and stakeholders
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and negotiate deals
- deep knowledge and understanding of the blockchain and cryptocurrency landscape, including market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment
