Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- to implement and work in accordance with of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose for your service
- to lead and manage a team to deliver excellent care and support for young people within the service
- to carry out routine meetings, supervisions, probationary reviews and lead on investigations for any concerns raised with your staff team
- attending childcare reviews and planning meetings to provide information and achieve best outcomes for young people
- undertaking direct work with young people and acting as an appropriate role model
- to develop systems in which young people are consulted about the quality of care they receive
- working in partnership with parents, carers, and other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of young people
- chairing children’s meetings and facilitating consultation with young people generally
Requirements

- the Oakfield Team
- A Certified Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care or equivalent as a minimum
- A Certified Diploma Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards completing this
- experience in leading and supervising a team within a Residential Child Care setting
- currently the company has 3-4 sites, however has outlined plans for steady and consistent growth over the next few years
- you will be a key central member of the team shaping the future of the organisation
- full UK Manual Driving Licence
