Responsibility
- this is an internal role, involving managing a busy 8000sqft warehouse, supplying product to the electrical wholesale industry and their clients
- this is a varied role which has at the heart of it, the interaction with colleagues to support our clients
- managing a busy warehouse including all the inventory, including goods inwards and goods out, including order processing and dispatch
- managing logistics on a day to day basis
- assisting with product testing where required
- the role includes supporting the administrative requirements of the business, order dispatch, product modification production, liaising with shippers, goods inwards management, product testing, systems set up, administration and maintenance, and telephone answering
- keeping the warehouse safe in line with health and safety guidance
- management of Returns
Requirements
- current fork lift license, health and safety training
- preferred Skills & experience
- good IT skills
- time management
- good communication skills
- people management
- knowledge of electronics could be an advantage
- computer literate - MS Office and shipping software experience essential
