Responsibility

• spearhead Nova’s procurement function, ensuring supplier delivery of hardware and services to tight cost, schedule and quality standards
• develop and maintain strong working relationships with Nova’s national and international base of key suppliers
• lead on negotiations with suppliers to secure best possible value for money

• establish and implement innovative procurement processes to optimise supply chain efficiency, enhancing performance of the procurement function
• identify and qualify suppliers, fostering strategic partnerships and ensuring a robust supplier base for sustained operational excellence
• develop high quality RFx and contractual documents in preparation for tender. Manage contract and purchase order award process
• manage annual insurance policies in line with company requirements
• develop, review and negotiate terms and conditions for the purchase of a variety of goods and services, joint ventures, collaboration and non-disclosure agreements
• maintain excellent internal stakeholder relationships, working closely with colleagues from engineering, production and operations
• line manage, develop and mentor members of the procurement team
• other company duties required by the business
• lead on the full lifecycle of contract management, monitoring cost, compliance and delivery, ensuring seamless execution in alignment with the company’s requirements

Requirements

• A passion for negotiating excellent deals and building strong supplier relationships
• A background and expertise in commercial, purchasing and contractual negotiations
• experience in procurement and supply chain management in a similar industry
