procurement manager
Responsibility
- spearhead Nova’s procurement function, ensuring supplier delivery of hardware and services to tight cost, schedule and quality standards
- develop and maintain strong working relationships with Nova’s national and international base of key suppliers
- lead on negotiations with suppliers to secure best possible value for money
- establish and implement innovative procurement processes to optimise supply chain efficiency, enhancing performance of the procurement function
- identify and qualify suppliers, fostering strategic partnerships and ensuring a robust supplier base for sustained operational excellence
- develop high quality RFx and contractual documents in preparation for tender. Manage contract and purchase order award process
- manage annual insurance policies in line with company requirements
- develop, review and negotiate terms and conditions for the purchase of a variety of goods and services, joint ventures, collaboration and non-disclosure agreements
Requirements
- A passion for negotiating excellent deals and building strong supplier relationships
- A background and expertise in commercial, purchasing and contractual negotiations
- experience in procurement and supply chain management in a similar industry
- experience with international imports and exports
- strong analytical skills and commercial awareness
- excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- ability to anticipate and manage supply chain risks
- self-starting, positive, flexible and able to thrive and drive in a dynamic environment
