Requirements
3-5 years of experience in financial management, preferably within a marketing or advertising agency
appropriate qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
proficiency in Xero accounting software and experience with advertising workflow systems such as Synergist
in-depth knowledge of UK financial regulations and tax laws
excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
confidence to make recommendations to the board and develop decision-making frameworks
ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

manage the payment of bills and account reconciliations, and maintain financial stability
as our first in-house finance person, you will work with our CEO and external accountants to optimise our current accounting and financial reporting processes, and establish new approaches where necessary to improve our efficiency and performance
handle payroll and pensions management , guaranteeing timely and accurate payments to employees
you will be responsible for managing day-to-day book-keeping and bill payments, as well as overseeing invoicing and providing monthly reporting to our senior leadership team
proactively pursue debtors and manage cash flow to optimise the agency's financial health
