Requirements

  • it is expected that you will maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll processes and legislation. Sage support and our external HR provider are both on hand to provide support as and when necessary
  • job Type: Fixed term contract
  • contract length: 12 months

Responsibility

  • payroll
  • processing the monthly payroll for all staff
  • analysing the timesheets from Doughty’s staff and processing any additional hours
  • analysing the timesheets from bank staff and processing these
  • setting up new starters
  • processing leavers, P45s
  • ensuring all relevant deductions are made, including SSP, SMP, Attachment of earnings, student loans
  • prepare payroll journals to ensure payroll costs are allocated to the correct cost area
