Requirements
extensive knowledge of commercial acumen, being able to create and implement pricing structures, awarding contracts, and payment systems and methodologies
strong understanding of rostering systems, software, and tools. Experience with IT systems relating to the sector is a plus
exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving increased operational performance
excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments
outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
previous experience of operations in the health sector, ideally within an ambulance company. Professional clinical qualifications relevant to the role preferred
high ethical standards and integrity in clinical, relational and financial management
proven experience in a clinical senior operations role, with a focus on people and equipment, forecasting, management, and strategic planning – with strong evidence of effective rostering skills and experience
Responsibility
develop and execute the company's growth strategy, by delivering excellence clinically and with customer service for our existing and new markets
oversee the service provision and relationships with key stakeholders, who will be from various business markets that include the public sector, third sector and private companies
support the MD by leading and mentoring other employees, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative, ‘giving-back’ and results-oriented team culture
lead the compliance and audits in line with legislation, accredited bodies e.g., CQC etc. and for sector/customer specific needs such as with insurance repatriations and the NHS to meet, and where possible exceed, all required contractual needs
