Responsibility
to work with colleagues to meet the needs of young people and families in a safe, effective and joined up way
develop and improve the services and support provided, supporting colleagues by listening and sharing skills, experience and knowledge
provide information and advice, informed by experience and best practice
to contribute to the safe and effective running of Northorpe Hall Trust and implementing plans, policies and procedures
to contribute to the safe and effective running of the organisation and implementing plans, policies and procedures
to develop good working relationships with other Northorpe Hall staff and volunteers
assist in the planning of activities to meet the support needs of children and families
provide reports and information about the service as required
Requirements
have a degree in an appropriate subject or a relevant recognised higher education / professional qualification
you will have completed some continued professional development in supporting children, young people and families
be competent in using information technology to maintain records and communicate
be emotionally resilient, knowledgeable, and positive about working with young people facing multiple challenges in their lives
be eligible to work in the UK, providing evidence of ID as required
have experience of working with families and young people experiencing mental health difficulties, including teenagers. The equivalent of one year’s full time work in this sort of role is a minimum
have at least two years’ experience of working with children and young people, individually and in a group setting with SEMH needs
be eligible to work in the UK
