- NVQ Level 3 qualification in health and social care or equivalent
- degree that relates to children/ young people
- previous work in a care home and/ or educational setting
- safeguarding, Level 2 qualification
- experience working with those with SEN
- physical intervention training
- worked with children from the age of 11-18
- good communication skills
Responsibility
- assist in the transfer of individuals between agencies and services
- support children with the prompting of their medication, conduct accurate and timely medication audits and maintain accurate medication records
- undertake all duties and responsibilities in accordance with: company policies, procedures, protocols, guidelines, standards; good professional practice, Ofsted and other regulatory requirements, relevant legislations, all legal and contractual obligations
- oversee the maintenance of accurate young person/children records and databases and provide statistics for management and to assist with service evaluation in a timely fashion
