- sourcing and filing manufacturers and suppliers’ information
- we have an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Administrator to join our Purchasing Team based in our office just outside Market Harborough
- order amendments where needed
- managing and maintaining project filing systems
- provide Accounts with required payments for the week
- accompany Healthcare Technology Coordination Manager on supplier visits
- work coverage during holidays and busy periods to optimise the teams depth of knowledge
- assisting the Purchasing and Logistics Departments when required
- send out enquiries for materials
- undertaking any other tasks / duties as reasonably required
- checking Sales Order Acknowledgments
- previous experience of working in the healthcare sector or associated organisations in a medical environment would be desirable but not essential
- tracking orders and notifying the relevant Buyers of any issues
- report generation from Sage – Issuing a range of reports to assist the purchasing team
- maintain and manage online documents and central repository
- contact with utility providers and other service providers as and when required
- act as a single point of contact for query resolution from the Accounts Department
- update records of company documents
- reconciliations of Purchase Orders and Delivery Notes
- working as an Administrator, within the Healthcare Technology team, you will provide comprehensive administration support including sourcing and purchasing medical equipment as well as maintaining and updating our in-house databases
- other general ad hoc office duties
Requirements
- proven administrative experience
- experience in Sage 200 would be an advantage
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
