Responsibility
- expertly prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- take orders, prepare and serve food and drinks
- your main focus will be on mastering the art of coffee making while ensuring a clean and organized workspace
- take customer orders with a friendly and attentive demeanor, providing personalized recommendations when needed
- provide friendly, efficient service to customers
- operate espresso machines and other equipment following established recipes and techniques
- keep the coffee shop clean, organised, and inviting
- maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including equipment, utensils, and serving stations
Requirements
- proficiency in food safety practices, including proper handling, storage, and hygiene
- strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- basic math skills for handling cash transactions, calculating change, and measuring ingredients
- previous experience in food preparation is advantageous, particularly in a cafe or restaurant setting
- exceptional customer service skills with a helpful and approachable attitude
- passion for coffee and a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- previous experience as a barista is preferred but not required; comprehensive training will be provided
- barista experience: 1 year
