Responsibility
- due to continued growth, we are currently looking to recruit and Production Planner to join out team
- will be working closely with the Material Controller to ensure stock levels are sufficiently maintained to deliver the production plan
- produce detailed daily production schedules and effect high standards of communication across the business
- close liaison and excellent communication with production teams is essential to deliver efficient operational plans and production
- we are a Midlands based company that specialised in the design and manufacture of a wide range of transit packaging from timber, bespoke, heave duty and corrugated packaging
- ideal candidate will have to create, update, and maintain the production planning schedule on a daily basis to make sure materials are prepared and final products assembled in line with agreed delivery dates
- ensure planning schedules support Optimization of production efficiency, material usage, changeovers, and customer delivery service
- thorough understanding of the manufacturing processes to achieve the end goal of supply
