Responsibility
- managing relationships with external service providers, including fund administrators, auditors, custodians, and lawyers
- maintaining accurate fund valuations and positions by calculating monthly NAVs and reconciling fund accounting entries with those of the fund administrator
- streamlining existing procedures and improving process automation and documentation to ensure efficiency and accuracy in operations
- generating position, exposure, and risk reports using the Portfolio Management System and reconciling bank balances
- facilitating new account openings and actively participating in various projects to assist the COO with operations, fund accounting, compliance, and risk functions
- the Middle Office team at Nickel provides essential post-trade support to the Front Office and is the principal point of contact for our administrator, custodians and other service providers
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in STEM, Economics, or Finance from a reputable university, such as those in the Russell Group
- no more than 1-2 years of professional experience in a related field
- demonstrated experience with resolving reconciliation issues
- experience with portfolio management systems and/or personal interest in crypto is a plus
