Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- operate and monitor 5 Boy injection moulding machines with tonnage ratings between 60 tonnes and 110 tonnes
- set up and adjust machine parameters for efficient and accurate production runs
- assist with tooling changes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime
- conduct regular machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and inspection
- monitor production output and quality, making adjustments as necessary
- conduct quality checks on moulded products to ensure they meet specifications
- troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues to minimise disruptions to production
- follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- prior experience as an Injection Moulding Operative or in a similar role
- proficiency in operating and maintaining injection moulding machines, preferably Boy machines
- knowledge of tooling changes and machine maintenance procedures
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
- strong attention to detail and quality control
- mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
