Responsibility

  • we are looking for an experienced general handyman/groundsman for a private house and small farm
  • salary £16-£20 per hour depending on experience/skills
  • responsibilities will include clipping hedges/mowing lawns/ routine building maintenance
  • basic carpentry and chain saw skills would be an advantage as would ability to look after machinery he/she uses
  • the work will be varied; it will range from minor maintenance work around the place including some painting, cleaning out a pond, keeping log baskets in the house topped up, checking chickens in the owners absence, to keeping drains and gutters clear, clearing snow in winter - in fact anything which will help towards the place running smoothly and having it look presentable at all times
