Education
- accounting experience in a fast-paced working environment
- strong FCA knowledge including client money reconciliations and reporting
- previous experience in a financial services environment or service sector
- experience of managing a team
- experience with Applied Epic preferred but not essential
Requirements
- able to communicate effectively across the business with colleagues, via e-mail and face to face
- excellent organiser - including time management and prioritisation
- people Management will be an important attribute when working with a team of direct reports to develop the function
- ensures that work is checked thoroughly and picks up on small errors
- able to compare numerical and written information and spot patterns and/or discrepancies
- manages own time effectively and able to manage the expectations of other stakeholders regarding delivery timescales. Keep line manager informed of delays and adheres to deadlines
Responsibility
- support the credit control function by providing regular reporting as required to those responsible for the client relationships
- work alongside the Group Auditors each year for the FCA audit in respect of Compliance and Client Money
