Responsibility
- assist the manager in the day to day running of a 4 bed 24-hour service ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently
- provide high standard of written and verbal communication
- provide and deliver a high standard of accommodation and support package for young people
- to work effectively with external agencies to promote and achieve best outcomes for young people in our service
- support young people to make difficult transition from care to living independently in the community
- support young people to acquire selfcare and interpersonal skills and demonstrate their ability to work towards their own tenancy
- work and continue therapeutic parenting using the PACE model
- work in line with the Statement of Purpose
Education
- ‘Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare ’ or Children, Young People’s Workforce
- diploma of Higher Education
Requirements
- pathway Planning
- LAC Reviews
- section 20 Care Orders
- attending Court
- within the last 2 years, worked for at least 18 months in a position relevant to the supported accommodation of young people or the residential care of Young People
- children Residential or supported accomodation: 2 years
