- repairing or replacing faulty parts, such as carburettors, valves, and pistons
- conducting engine rebuilds and overhauls
- rebuilding and stripping down vehicles for refurbishment
- keeping up-to-date with the latest repair techniques and technology
- maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience working as a mechanic, with a proven track record in air cooled engines
- knowledge of various air cooled engines and their unique characteristics
- strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- valid driver's license and reliable transportation
