Responsibility
- to be ‘hands on’, working with the Café & Bar team in delivering the food and drink service
- to ensure the Café & Bar team to work cohesively, achieve great service standards and maximise sales
- deputise for the Café & Bar Manager when necessary
- working in collaboration with the daytime Café & Bar Supervisor, support the smooth daily operation of the Café & Bar, with a focus on the evening service
- supervise cashing up as required and investigate any discrepancies in accordance with NWT policies
- to contribute to excellent food hygiene and health and safety standards
- support the Café & Bar Manager to manage the Café & Bar team of Assistants, including but not limited to, participating in staff recruitment, producing rotas, supporting team briefings and training new team members
- to be part of the pool of First Aid Trained operational staff, if required
