security officer
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- ensure compliance with the site security policies and instructions at all times
- present a professional and courteous manner at all times ensuring a secured site
- comply with Health & Safety standards and procedures e.g. reporting hazards, accidents and near misses
- full time contract of employment working night shifts averaging 33 hours and 44hours per alternating week. One night on, One night off shift pattern. Optional paid overtime
- undertake searches on site including staff and vehicles where necessary
- static and Mobile Patrol Security, responsible for ensuring company policies are correctly adhered too in respect of all aspects of the site security
- undertake patrols of the site including lock and unlock duties where necessary
- this may include sporadic staff searches on some sites, site visitors checks and support, transport drivers checks and mobile security site patrols
Requirements
- security related qualifications, training and SIA recognised course attendance
- SIA registration is essential and should be in date
- SIA registration is essential
- any evidence of Security working knowledge or initial training
- any evidence of Security working knowledge
- have a reasonable employment checkable history
- current SIA registration which must be in date
- no Experience in the security industry or public security services will not restrict application however is preferable
