NESTON FARM NURSERY is looking for employees for positions:

Education

  • diploma of Higher Education
  • ensure all children receive high-quality care and educational experiences
  • work alongside Room Leads to ensure every child has a Key Person within the Nursery
  • develop and implement age-appropriate programs and activities. As well as support programs such as mindfulness, music and yoga
  • monitor children's progress and development
  • ensure all 2 Year Checks are conducted a month before the child’s 3rd Birthday
  • support children and their families by providing Transition Forms for each room

Responsibility

  • identify and support children with special educational needs
  • develop and implement individualized education plans , My Support Plans and Educational Health Care Plans for children with SEN
  • work closely with parents, guardians, and external professionals to coordinate support and resources
  • provide training and guidance to staff on SEN best practices and strategies
  • monitor and review the progress of children with SEN and adjust plans as necessary
  • ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to SEN provision
  • position Title: Children's Nursery Floor Manager & SENCO
  • reports To: Nursery Manager, Assistant Manager & Director

Requirements

  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • work within a team, offering support and taking on feedback
  • ability to multitask and handle stressful situations
  • knowledge of child development, early childhood education principles, and SEN best practices
  • proficiency in using nursery management software and tools
  • education: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Child Development, or a related field, Level 3 qualified minimum
  • certifications: Relevant certifications in early childhood education and care, first aid, food hygiene, and SENCO training
