Responsibility
- you will be involved in both the planning of events and attending events, which may be during evenings or weekends
- you will be personable, proactively helpful, and confident in using telephone, email and computer systems as well as social media platforms
- funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of the Your Community Greenspace project, the role of Events Apprentice forms a key part of delivering the Trust’s commitment to supporting individuals in progressing learning and potential careers, linked to the management of open spaces and people’s engagement with them
- in doing this, we are looking for a person with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude who is committed to developing their skills and has a passion for community engagement through events and activities
- you will be part of the Trust's events team as well as our Your Community Greenspace project team supporting the development and delivery of an exciting events programme alongside your apprenticeship
- the apprenticeship will involve on-the-job training and assessment within the workplace
- you will also be required to participate in training courses, either online or in-person
- where relevant, travel expenses will be covered by the Trust
