Responsibility
- personnel vetting, induction, training and awareness, supervision and aftercare, investigations and reporting
- ensure all contracts etc. meet project compliance and manage security in the supply chain
- liaise with Cyber Security and Technical teams to ensure risk, management, accreditation and documentation of all CIS
- author of security policies & processes, audits, advice, reporting, incident investigation and response
- support and provide bid responses with security management aspects of projects
- arranging appropriate security education and awareness programmes including induction on a group wide basis
- identify and advise on measures to meet operational requirements, supervision and oversight of all physical security controls and control of secure storage facilities for the site
- investigation of any suspected and actual breaches of security
Requirements
- strong knowledge of current UK Government Security Procedures and the Security Policy Framework, as well as proficiency in Information Assurance Standards
- experience with Physical Security Integrated Management Systems
- familiarity with approved security products and build standards
- knowledge and experience of supporting security disciplines, including document control, visitor clearances, personnel security processing and security processes and procedures
- experience of leading and inspiring others, providing guidance, mentoring and planning
- significant proven experience of security in a Defence or HMG capacity having worked within an FSC security environment, or in a Protective Security role
- ability to prioritise and manage a complex workload, including multiple tasks for themselves and direct reports
- strong influencing skills
